Church Stretton is a small market town which lies in a valley between two lines of hills in South Shropshire.  The outstanding scenery around Church Stretton and the South Shropshire hills attracts many people to the town either as tourists (especially walkers) or to retire to the town.

The practice which started in 1974 is situated within the town and as well as providing medical services for the town, we also cover the surrounding rural area to a radius of about seven miles.

This is approximately 110 square miles and we have over 7,300 patients, of which half live in the rural areas.

The practice moved into a purpose built building in 1991 and this is situated nearly opposite the large pay and display car park in the centre of the town.

The building consists of five large and one small consulting rooms, one large and two small clinical rooms, a treatment room, a practice nurse consulting room, reception, waiting room and various administration offices.

We are a training practice taking GP Registrars and medical students.
